Our kitchen is led by chef John Boyce who selects the menu every day to include the finest ingredients and freshest local produce. Appetizers vary depending on season but staples include Atlantic prawn cocktail, wholesome homemade soup, deep fried brie, egg mayonnaise, breaded mushrooms and hot and spicy chicken wings with house sauce.
A delicious range of main courses includes roast rib of tender Donegal beef, succulent stuffed turkey and Donegal ham and warm chicken salad. For fish lovers, there’s fresh catch of the day, sourced directly from Donegal harbours and served with a homemade tartar sauce. The Traveller’s Inn steak burger is a house favourite and classics such as spicy chicken curry and golden fried chicken goujons complete the menu. All mains are served with a selection of creamed mash and seasonal vegetables.
To complete our menu we have a great selection of delicious homemade desserts. Classic favourites include our Warmed Apple Pie, Homemade Guinness Cake and our very own Football Special Cheesecake which is a must for all visitors.
